With nearly three decades of experience in education, Tracie has served students, educators, schools, districts, and universities in roles spanning classroom teaching, school leadership, educator development, higher education, and federal programs administration.
She began her career as an elementary teacher, where she was named Teacher of the Year, earned National Board Certification, led parent and family engagement efforts, and served as a mentor and teacher leader. Her work later expanded statewide through CERRA, where she supported districts, educators, mentor trainers, Teacher Cadet and ProTeam instructors, Teaching Fellows programs, and National Board candidates across South Carolina.
Tracie has also served as a private school principal, National Board consultant, adjunct professor and student teacher supervisor, school- and district-level Title I Coordinator, state-level federal and state accountability professional, and district Director of Federal Programs. Her experience includes leading comprehensive needs assessment planning and supporting school improvement efforts at both the school and district levels.
